The Four Presuppositions of CRT

Context Recognition Theory is based on a world view that grounds the practitioner in practical terms and identifies the basic structure and mechanisms of lived experience in such as way that is orienting and actionable. The language of CRT is chosen to be as common as possible without sacrificing depth and the efficiency. As a result, some articulations of CRT do appear abstract and removed from lived experience. The goal of CRT nomenclature is to try to use the best of both theoretical and application focused language.
